The application deadline is April 16 for a local group’s college scholarships for adult women already in college or planning to go there for reasons connected to career advancement.
The Niagara Frontier Chapter of New York State Women, formerly known as the Tonawandas Business and Professional Women, has awarded 126 scholarships since 1953.
Applications are available at the Tonawanda or North Tonawanda public libraries, the North Tonawanda History Museum, local college financial aid offices or by email request to niafronnysw@aol.com.

The awards will be presented at a dinner June 25 in Pane’s Restaurant, 984 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda.
