A Billings, Mont., man was charged early Sunday morning with driving while intoxicated after allegedly driving erratically on Bemus Ellery Road in the Town of Ellery, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Brian W. Adams, 43, was charged with DWI, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to use a turn signal and refusal to submit to a breath test to determine blood alcohol level.
He was arrested at 2 a.m. at the intersection of the Route 430 exit ramp and Bemus-Ellery Road. Adams was arraigned in Town of Ellery Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on bail of $1,500 cash. He is to appear in court again at a later date.
