After being charged once with driving while intoxicated, a 26-year-old Chautauqua County man picked a bad place to park a few hours later, as Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies investigated an incident on Route 20 in the Town of Portland. He parked directly in front of the deputies’ patrol car early Sunday morning.
Deputies identified Rodney A. Austin as the same person they had arrested for driving while intoxicated earlier in the evening in Brocton, sheriff’s officials said.
Following a brief investigation, deputies charged Austin with DWI – for the second time that night – according to police reports.
