New travel restrictions – including night time closure and detours – will greet Kensington Expressway motorists next week as construction continues on Buffalo’s main commuter artery, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Lane and ramp closures are expected daily on eastbound and westbound lanes between downtown and the Scajaquada Expressway, the department said. In addition, westbound Kensington traffic will be closed to all traffic nightly from approximately 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Wednesday through Friday.
Motorists will be directed to follow posted detour routes.
