The Erie County Fair kicks off today, and attendees can get free entry when they bring at least one canned good to donate to the Food Bank of Western New York.
Today only, fairgoers can skip the turnstile and head straight for the deep-fried Oreos if they make a nonperishable food donation. Regular admission is $10, $7 for seniors.
Saturday, attendees who bring canned good donations to the fair will be eligible to buy unlimited ride wristband for $20.
Sunday, a canned good donation gets attendees $5 off gate admission.
