SHERIDAN – The Chautauqua County Democratic Committee has endorsed Amy Farnham in the Sept. 10 primary election race for the District 5 seat in the County Legislature, county Chairman Norman P. Green announced. She already has the Working Families Party endorsement.
Farnham, a lifelong Sheridan and Arkwright resident who has served on the Sheridan Town Board for 10 years, is opposing Susan Baldwin of Villenova in the primary. The winner will challenge Republican nominee Terry Niebel, a former GOP county election commissioner. District 5 includes Sheridan, Arkwright, Villenova and Cherry Creek.
