Mayor Paul A. Dyster wants to bring back an economic development post in his proposed budget for next year.
The job of senior business development director will be included in the proposed 2014 budget his administration is preparing, Dyster told members of the NFC Development Corp., the city's banking arm, on Monday.
Under the City Charter, Dyster is required to present a proposed budget for next year by Oct 1.
When asked by City Council Chairman Glenn A. Choolokian on Sept. 16 whether he expected he would present the proposal on time, Dyster said he anticipated he would.
