Three homes suffered a total of $136,000 damage in a fire that routed at least seven people from their home near Forest Lawn early Monday morning, Buffalo fire officials said.
Firefighters responded to a 12:11 a.m. alarm at 235 Oxford Ave., just south of West Delavan Avenue.
The first-floor fire extended to the second floor and attic, before spreading to both adjacent homes, at 239 and 231 Oxford. Fire officials listed an estimated $95,000 damage at 235 Oxford, $40,000 to 239 Oxford and $1,000 exposure damage to 231 Oxford.
The Red Cross was called to assist seven adults forced out of their home at 235 Oxford.
The cause remains under investigation.
