OLEAN ‑ A St. Bonaventure University sophomore who had been missing since early Saturday was found dead this afternoon, a university spokesman said.
The body of Tyler S. Davis of Rochester was found near the west entrance of the campus, according to spokesman Thomas Missel.
Davis was a history major who lived in Devereaux Hall. He was last seen early Saturday, walking toward campus after leaving a party on East Union Street in Allegany.
Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death. Further information wasn’t immediately available.
A prayer service will be held at 9 tonight at the University Chapel in Doyle Hall.
