The Village of Springville has invited the public to the dedication of the new Community Clock at East Main and Mechanic streets at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Located in the newly refurbished M&T Bank Park, the clock’s purchase was made possible by a fundraising campaign spearheaded by the Concord Historical Society.
At the event, Community Clock Committee Chairmen David Batterson and Joel Maul will read the names of those residents and businesses who donated a total of $40,000 for the timepiece.
The clock will chime for the first time at the ceremony’s conclusion at noon.
