A former union president who filed false invoices to get reimbursed for expenses he never incurred in 2007 and 2008 has been sentenced to six months of home detention and two years probation, U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr. said Thursday.
David Kellner, 49, of Delevan, former head of Transport Workers Local 2020, had been convicted of filing a false financial report with the U.S. Secretary of Labor, in which he failed to disclose that he had filed the invoices. He also was ordered to repay $12,226 to the union.
