Town of Tonawanda
The town has launched a new online tool for the community to contribute input to an update of the its comprehensive plan, which is a framework for future priorities in the town.Users may submit ideas to the “Community Voice” forum at www.tonawanda.ny.us/communityvoice. The ideas are categorized under broad topics such as “Community Activity Ideas” and “Infrastructure & Environment Improvements.” Other residents can comment on ideas and vote them up or down.

• The town clerk’s office will be open Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to noon for hunting and fishing license purchases before a one-week blackout period begins Dec. 26 due to the state Department of Environmental Conservation switching to a new automated licensing system.
• The Tonawanda Town Board will hold its organizational meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, in council chambers at the municipal building, 2919 Delaware Ave.
• The Kenmore Village Board has granted free parking at all meters in the village during the holiday season until Tuesday.
