A 22-year-old Buffalo man told city police he was robbed at gunpoint of a cellphone worth $350 early Sunday.
A thief described as a tall, thin black male, wearing a dark-colored hoodie sweatshirt, escaped in a red Dodge Stratus after robbing the victim shortly after midnight at Bailey Avenue and East Amherst Street, officers said.
The victim reported that he had just left a nearby convenience store when the bandit got out of the Dodge and threatened to shoot him with a black handgun.
