LITTLE VALLEY – Three men and two women were sentenced to state prison Wednesday by Cattaraugus County Court Justice Ronald Ploetz on a variety of convictions.
Myron T. McCollum, 25, of Springville, was ordered to serve a prison term of two to four years as a repeat felon for burglarizing a Town of Ashford location June 12.
Cattaraugus County District Attorney Lori Pettit Rieman said McCollum was charged three years ago with felony drunken driving, after running away from his damaged car and leaving a passenger seriously injured during a crash on Sharp Street in the Town of Concord.
Others sent to prison were:
• Molly C. Nicoletta, 29, of Olean, who was ordered to serve 1∑ to four years on her stolen property conviction in an Olean incident last July 14.
• Robin S. Wicker, 47, of Chaffee, ordered to serve 1∑ to four years on her latest felony driving while intoxicated conviction for an incident Dec. 16 in Yorkshire.
• Rodney D. Doran, 23, of Olean, ordered to serve three years on his felony drug possession conviction for an incident in Olean on March 1.
Rieman said Doran was arrested by Olean police, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Special Response Team and a State Police K-9 unit during a raid that resulted in the seizure of drugs, weapons and about $16,000 in drug-related cash.
• Dustin J. Dashnow, 30, of Machias, ordered to serve three years on his convictions for a drug sale to an undercover agent on May 19, 2011, in Yorkshire, as well as an attempted burglary Feb. 8 in Machias.
In other court action, Shane C. Riethmiller, 40, of Dunkirk, was ordered to serve six months in the Cattaraugus County Jail and remain on probation for the next 4½ years on his conviction for molesting a young girl while disseminating indecent material to her in the City of Salamanca between October and December 2011.
Also, Kyle A. Johnson, 43, of Buffalo, pleaded not guilty to two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He is accused of trying to sell heroin and cocaine in the Town of Olean last July 16.
