BATAVIA - The longest serving member of the City School District Board of Education says he will be a candidate in the May 21 election.
Patrick D. Burk, now completing his 26th year, will seek another three-year term.
Steven J. Mountain is the other board member whose term is expiring.
Burk, who is active in 56 Harvester, a theatrical group, has also served several times as board president.
Petitions for candidates became available Tuesday at the administrative office in the Batavia High School building. They may be filed on or before April 24.
