Kingdon appointed Genesee Legislature clerk

BATAVIA – The Genesee County Legislature has appointed Sara Kingdon, of Pavilion, as its clerk effective later this month.

A confidential secretary in the County Attorney’s Office, Kingdon will succeed Carolyn P. Pratt, who is retiring after 25 years.

The clerk’s duties include helping prepare agendas, taking minutes of meetings and reading resolutions at Legislature sessions.
